Christopher J. Calderhead

Born 1981 in Ohio, I didn't have any artistic skills, and even though I love

 

 

music and art I had no talent for them. This was frustrating, seeing as I have

​

​

always wanted to express myself artistically . This finally happened when I

 

 

got my hands on my very first 35mm film camera.

 

 

I was then on my way to capturing my eye and my mind through a lens.

​

​

To this day I still only shoot 35mm film, I love everything about it, especially

 

 

the element of surprise.

​

​

​

    In 1998 I started my own company under the name Captured Eye

​

​

Photography, and have been shooting ever since.

​

​

  Now here in 2020 I was on my way to achieving another dream, with the

​

​

support of  my wife, to open my own gallery. O'Snap Fine Art Photography,

 

 

gallery was set to open in March of 2020, but due to the Covid19 Pandemic,

 

 

we have held off from opening, until a more stable period in time.

​

​

​

   One reason for opening a gallery was to help other photographers get a leg

 

 

up and have a chance to show their work. So in order to still help other

 

 

talented folks, I am spotlighting them here, under Artist Spotlight.
